Dean Dickinson

BSc (Hons.) Ost. M. GOsC DCO
Classical & Cranial Osteopath

Dean undertook a degree in osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) and a postgraduate diploma at the John Wernham College of Classical Osteopathy, Maidstone (JWCCO). This has allowed strict entry onto the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).

Dean has undertaken many other courses around the UK, USA and Europe in classical osteopathic philosophy & technique and cranial & visceral technique from teachers all over the world. He has chaired the ICO Conference on Mechanics of Posture and has been lecturing both undergraduates and postgraduates on Technique and Classical Osteopathic Philosophy at JWCCO, The British School of Osteopathy and SIOM. Dean recently left his undergraduate osteopathic technique lecturer post at SIOM to allow him to undertake another physical therapy degree at Brunel University, West London.

Dean continues to teach Osteopaths and Physiotherapists in the UK, Europe and Internationally.

Dean has run a successful multi-disciplinary clinic in Orpington, Kent before deciding to setup home and clinic in sunny Worthing. He has gained a reputation quickly amongst health visitors and midwives as one of very few practitioners locally proficient in paediatric osteopathy.

Dean has undertaken many further postgraduate qualifications in paediatric health, cranial osteopathy medical acupuncture, exercise therapy, electrotherapy, Pilates and Swiss ball training. It is Dean’s desire to set up a clinic in Worthing of truly exceptional practitioners with one common goal - to provide excellent service to aid your recovery as quickly as possible.

Lesley Suter

Registered Osteopath & Homeopath

Lesley graduated from the College of Homeopathy in 1991 and started a successful practice in Worthing before moving on to Littlehampton. Whilst working as a homeopath, Lesley experienced such great results when treating alongside an osteopath that in 1995 Lesley embarked on a 4-year diploma in osteopathy herself. Since then Lesley has mixed her practice, being able to offer both homeopathy and osteopathy.

She has returned to practice in Worthing and continues as a lecturer at the South Downs School of Homeopathy.

Jenny Hammond

BSc (Hons) Ost. Med.
Registered Osteopath

Jenny Hammond graduated from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine with a First Class degree in Osteopathic Medicine. During her 3 years clinical training she experienced and developed a wide range of osteopathic skills including cranial osteopathy and classical methods. Jenny is undertaking postgraduate training in Cranial Osteopathy and Paediatric Osteopathy with the Sutherland Cranial College. In her spare time, Jenny has ridden horses at British Event Level, through this experience she learnt the importance of health and exercise and also the need to maintain biomechanical efficiency in training and competition. Jenny also has a keen interest in the treatment and prevention of injury in long distance running, of which she is actively involved.

Mr Tim Eden

Physiotherapist

Tim is a former English Schools Sailing Team member and GB Youth Swimming Squad member. This in turn set him up perfectly for a career in sport and physiotherapy.

Tim studied for a degree in Sport & Excercise Science at Brighton University before undertaking a Physiotherapy degree at Brunel University, West London.

On graduation, Tim entered the NHS completing all his clinical rotations and specialising in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. In the meantime he became increasingly involved in sport physiotherapy. He worked up through the ranks at many emerging rugby clubs and entered many committees as a medical and education advisor. Between 2000 and 2002, Tim worked as London Wasps RFU full time medical coordinator and first team physio. He is currently Worthing RFC’s senior physio.

Tim has a proven track record in the NHS, private practice and in the sports arena to be a great physio with all the necessary skills to provide a exceptional service. We at Agility Healthcare Clinic are pleased to have him on board to head up our physiotherapy services here.

Tim has a special interest in biomechanics, excercise physiology, medical acupuncture, spinal pain and sport/excercise therapy.

Miss Emma Clark-Eden

Physiotherapist

Emma trained as a physiotherapist at Brunel University following a degree in Sport & Excercise Science at Brighton University. She specialises in musculo-skeletal physiotherapy. Emma has continued her training and is now our lead occupational health physiotherapist. Emma is based at EDF Energy Worthing and Hove, treating their staff for all manner of occupational health and ergonomic-related issues. Emma has expertise in a range of diverse environments, including manufacturing, service industries, offices, retail, healthcare, ergonomic consultancies and private practice.
Emma can draw from a wide variety of skills including manual therapy, medical acupuncture, massage and Pilates.

Mrs Andrea Hughes

Herbalist

Andrea is the consultant medical herbalist. She graduated from the respected College of Phytotherapy (University of Wales) with an honours degree in Phytotherapy (Herbal Medicine) and is a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists and the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy. Andrea offers consultations, seminars and workshops in herbal medicine. She has talked a number of times on both Splash FM and Southern Counties' Radio and has written articles for publication. Herbal medicine is capable of treating a vast array of medical conditions and uses a variety of medical testing techniques to confirm or denote possible conditions.

Kerry Taylor

Independent Midwife

Kerry Taylor is an independent midwife offering private postnatal midwifery care and antenatal preparation classes.

Kerry has been a midwife since 1996 and has worked in all areas of the NHS as well as in independent practise. Kerry is on-hand to enhance our work with pregnant women and early childcare.
